The Assistant Manager will support the Education team by contributing to the design of educational training programs for M·A·C Point of Sale employees that supports the brand strategy, drives business outcomes and optimizes our retail employees & customer experience.
This role has a focus on NPL, Evergreen and Onboarding instructor-led and video content to enhance the makeup artistry, customer service + selling and product knowledge in the global training programs. This position involves collaborating effectively with the Global Education & Artistry teams, regional field leaders of Education & Artistry, and other business functions to ensure alignment and excellence in execution.
This role will help support content creation, execution of training programs, development of training tools and materials that support NPL, Evergreen and Onboarding training programs that support brand strategy, business continuity and growth.

Support Director of Global Education (IRL) to organize and execute NPL, Evergreen and Onboarding instructor-led content strategy (50%):

  • Support program development of educational experiences for MAC retail employees and the Global Education and Regional Education & Artistry teams worldwide.
  • Contribute to the design of training programs that are aligned with the brand strategy for MAC retail employees and the Global Education and Regional Education & Artistry
  • Assist with training needs analyses, participate in ideation sessions, contribute to the writing of training programs, edit training programs and materials, and apply required modifications/updates to training programs.
  • Support content creation and the execution of in person/instructor-led and virtual education sessions / presentations.
  • Manage NPL/ Evergreen program project timelines and ensure completion. Partner with Marketing, Regional Education teams and Artistry where needed.
  • Participate in content-focused task forces, collaborate on the agenda and participate in the design of meeting support materials (PowerPoints, facilitator notes, attendee materials, videos, etc.).
  • Liaise with Regional Education to ensure Retail field teams' needs are met, acquire feedback on programs and incorporate changes as necessary.
  • Collaborating effectively with other business functions including Regional trainers, Commercial, Marketing, Product Development & Creative.
  • Provide on-site logistical support at Education Meetings like Train the Trainer and M·A·C Trainer Academy.
Support Director Digital Education to develop, organize and execute Video Content strategy seasonally. (40%)
  • Collaborate with the Director of Digital Education (Video) by assisting in the planning and production of video shoots lead by Global Education.
  • Assist in management of final video content delivery, including creation of VTT transcripts, sharing of content with the field, uploading to CMS/Brightcove, timely activation of videos on various platforms.
  • Oversee the coordination of on-camera talent to deliver assets to serve across Education channels.
  • Manage video project timelines and ensure completion.
  • Partner with Marketing, Regional Education teams and Artistry where needed.
Leverage and provide logistical support to M·A·C X (LMS) and Brightcove (video hosting platform) and Training program operations- (10%)
  • Oversee Evergreen program support materials such as inventory and management of Skill certification jewelry and budget of all Educator trainings materials and tools.
  • Support Digital Education team by updating content across all our digital platforms.
  • Provide technical support to the broader Artist community to enable access to learning technologies as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3-4+ years of relevant learning & development experience which includes experience in an instructor-led and digital learning environment creating content
  • Experience in creating short/long format video content, filming and editing content.
  • Experience with evaluating and implementing digital learning solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies including Office 360 Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro a plus
  • Experience in InDesign, Illustrator a plus
  • Experience in Articulate 360 a plus
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems a plus

SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Superior organization skills, excellent communication, editing and verbal communication skills strong and a team player
  • Strong Customer Service skills including the ability to resolve challenges Consumer-centric approach
  • Understanding of principles of adult learning, instructional design and learning analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of video content creation- filming, directing, editing, etc.
  • Understanding of social media marketing and digital storytelling.
  • Continuous learning mindset and ability to remain abreast of latest trends and insights in digital learning and social media

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,150 to $109,200. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
