Overview:

We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young students. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of our preschoolers.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our preschoolers, incorporating a mix of play-based learning, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages socialization, creativity, and self-expression.
  • Establish routines and structures to promote behavior management and ensure the smooth operation of the classroom.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative and supportive community.
  • Adapt lesson plans to accommodate students with special needs, providing individualized support and accommodations as necessary.
  • Manage classroom resources and supplies, ensuring that the classroom is organized, clean, and well-maintained

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential
  • Experience working with children with special needs is desirable
  • Experience with teaching in a classroom setting is necessary
  • Early childhood education principles and practices
  • Experience working with children of all ages
  • Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse students
  • Experience with special education and accommodations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Infant care expertise
  • Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices
