Senior Advanced Systems Engineer
Location: ONSITE in Scottsdale, AZ
Pay: Up to $87.20 per hour
Clearance Requirement: The ability to obtain a DoD issued Secret clearance is required. An Active Secret clearance is preferred. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Due to the nature of work performed in the facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

GeoLogics is seeking a talentedSr. Advanced Systems Engineer to work with one of our aerospace and defense partners in Scottsdale, AZ.
Job Overview: As a systems engineer for the SDA GMI program, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Required Skills and Qualifications:-
Ability to obtain a DoD clearance (U.S. Citizenship)-
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years of related systems engineering experience (or 6 years with a master's)-
Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the systems development life cycle-
Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success-
Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements-
Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions-
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
Preferred Skills and Experience:-
Demonstrated Satellite communications knowledge-
Satellite constellation contact planning experience-
Ground operations experience-
Performs design of networks, with working knowledge of networking protocols-
Performs detailed technical analyses for a software subsystem or system elements-
Experience in Software functional analysis and interface definitions, including Application Programing Interface experience-
Researches and analyzes data, such as vendor products, COTS components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application-
Performs requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, and system design and definition-
Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle-
Facilitates discussions with senior levels of Customer Stakeholders
