job summary:This position is responsible for purchases made by a company from it's vendors. Facilitates the acquisition of company supplies and equipment and ensures that vital inventory is kept in stock.
This position also covers for shipping and receiving from time to time, therefore it requires forklift experience.
- Support production and material groups by checking material status and expediting orders as required
- Track purchase orders for successful completion and escalate issues as necessary
- Manage purchase order communication with end users including sending receipt acknowledgements, sending order confirmations, and revising, extending, and/or canceling purchase orders
- Work with multiple departments to get appropriate information to process orders and work closely with the accounts payable/accounting team to ensure orders that have been purchases are ready for payment
- Support quality group
- Enter quality forms & records into the quality system
- File and maintain purchasing files
salary: $17/hr
work hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM
qualifications:
- up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)
Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
