We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the finance industry, based in Southington, Connecticut. This role involves handling customer inquiries, maintaining accurate customer records, and processing customer applications with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls and messages from online banking end users to assist with their needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to login problems, technical support, online bill pay, and online security
  • Document details of end user interactions in the case management system
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships while servicing end user needs in a respectful, professional manner
  • Adhere to company call quality standards and service level agreements
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed
  • Maintain a reliable work attendance record
  • Learn new concepts quickly and easily in a dynamic environment
  • Use multiple internal systems proficiently to assist customers
  • Have a good understanding of Online Banking services. • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Have proven experience in customer service or a client-facing role within the financial industry.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Show strong problem-solving abilities to handle customer issues and complaints efficiently.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of financial products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity in all work-related activities.
  • Have proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Show willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
  • Fluency in more than one language would be an advantage.
  • Experience in sales within the financial industry would be a plus.
  • Possess strong analytical skills to understand and interpret customer needs.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
