Job description
We have an immediate opening for a physician to provide patient and family consultation services for our Palliative Care Program, with primary focus on building a robust community-based program and partial rotation with a local community hospital.S/he will act as a medical resource person to the interdisciplinary team and assure overall quality and continuity of the Palliative Care Program using best practices and evaluating patient care outcomes. Additionally, s/he supervises the nurse practitioner assigned to the program and provides consultations, follow up care and management of the palliative care program patients.

Requirements
Qualifications include either a Doctor of Medicine or osteopathy, licensed in PA with expertise in the medical care and pain management of terminally ill individuals. Specialty in internal medicine or family practice is preferred. Accreditation by the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) or other accreditation body.
