Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Credit Clerk in the accounting industry, located in Whites Creek, Tennessee, 37189, United States. This role involves maintaining detailed records, processing customer credit applications, and ensuring timely collection of payments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the processing of customer credit applications in a precise and timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.
• Resolve customer credit inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly for any discrepancies.
• Take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments from customers.
• Prepare financial statements and journal entries as per industry standards.
• Handle non-profit accounting and grants efficiently.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable with attention to detail.
• Operate and manage accounting software systems effectively.
• Perform regular auditing and billing functions as required. • Must hold a minimum of five years' experience in an accounting manager or supervisor role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must
• Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
• Experience with ERP Solutions is crucial
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is beneficial
• Ability to perform a variety of accounting functions is necessary
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Must have experience in auditing
• Familiarity with billing functions is preferred.
