Job Responsibilities:
- Operate mammography equipment to capture diagnostic images of the breasts
- Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Review images to confirm quality and take additional images if necessary
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
- Collaborate closely with radiologists to assist in image interpretation and reporting
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Certifications:
- Must have ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Must obtain mammography certification within the first three months of employment
- Must have an active Diagnostic Radiography License
