Media Buyer/Planner with audio

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Media Buyer/Planner with audio/podcast experience. This role is within the media industry and involves managing and negotiating media purchases. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and execute media buying strategies, utilizing various tools and platforms, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, negotiate and execute media buying strategies for various channels, with a particular focus on podcast and YouTube influencer channels.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of media buying campaigns and make adjustments as needed.
• Work with higher budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Maintain detailed records of media purchases and monitor customer accounts.
• Use Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, including v look ups and pivot tables.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with media providers.
• Coordinate with other team members to align media buying with overall marketing and branding strategy.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the media industry.
• Increase brand awareness through effective media buying strategies.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise with media providers.
• Proficiency in Bing and Facebook Ad platforms
• Experience with CRM systems
• Familiarity with database management
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems
• Proven track record in managing successful Ad Campaigns
• Expertise in creating effective Advertisements
• Ability to enhance Brand Awareness
• Understanding of Broadcast and Cabling systems
• Previous experience in Media Buying
• Strong skills in Media Planning
• Interest and experience in Podcasts
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret data.
