The Logistics Manager oversees and manages the overall logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of products from suppliers to customers. They coordinate transportation, warehousing, and inventory management while aiming to minimize costs and enhance delivery performance.This role is critical in maintaining a seamless supply chain, ensuring that the organization meets its productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
Job Description- Supply Chain Management: Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. Manage the full order cycle, including sourcing, purchasing, transport, storage, and delivery.
- Inventory Control: Oversee the movement and storage of goods, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory levels. Work to minimize wastage and optimize storage space.
- Transportation Coordination: Develop and monitor transportation schedules, routing, and carrier relationships. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
- Budget Management: Create and manage budgets for logistics operations, striving for cost-efficiency without compromising quality or timelines.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop logistics personnel, providing training, performance feedback, and support for professional development.
- Performance Analysis: Use data analytics to evaluate logistics performance, tracking KPIs like delivery accuracy, cost-per-mile, inventory turnover, etc., to identify areas for improvement.
- Supplier and Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and mitigate risks.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve logistics processes, implementing new tools, technology, or workflows that increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws and regulations governing logistics activities, such as health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry-specific policies.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience 5+ years in logistics management, supply chain, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software (ERP, WMS, TMS).
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
