The Laboratory department is expanding and is looking to fill the Microbiology Coordinator with a healthcare professional who is enthusiastic and determined to be an asset for the lab department.
The Clinical Microbiology Tech will be responsible for all technical departmental duties, supporting training and continuing education, competency assessment, providing leadership guidance for laboratory staff and partnering with hospital clinical staff in problem resolution.The Lab Coordinator will be required to do microbiology bench duties. This position will have supervisory components and be a subject matter expert in Microbiology. The ideal candidate will have Microbiology experience and their MT or MLS certification through ASCP.
