Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize our order management system(OMS) to track and manage inbound shipments.
- Monitor and support supplier compliance to enhance our OMS/TMS optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with the internal transportation team and other departments to support overall shipment needs
- Serve as the primary contact for all transportation vendor related issues and communications
- Manage international shipments and accessorial charges
- Create and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Resolve transportation/vendor issue tickets
- Support Inbound/Backhaul Optimization
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Cross-trained in multiple transportation positions
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in Transportation/Traffic
- Professional verbal communication skills and customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail/accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment while managing multiple tasks
- Always ensures confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to work flexible shifts/hours
- Ability to prioritize actions and projects
Analytical ability to summarize data and data entry skills
