SQL Server Cloud Database Administrator

This warehouse is expected to grow larger than 5 PBs and accessed by users across the country having diverse functional backgrounds and analysis needs.

Specific job duties include:

• Research disparate geospatial datasets to identify the metadata within and develop the logical data models
• Refine maximized physical data models for peak performance
• Perform day to day administration of an Azure SQL data warehouse
• Define, refine, and execute ETL data loads.
• A qualified candidate must be able to:
• Work independently
• Demonstrate the ability to interpret business data and translate it into insightful data models
• Develop efficient data transformation processes and scripts
• Work with a wide range of data sources and their documentation to quickly understanding structure and key attributes
• Perform end-to-end data warehouse tasks: From gathering requirements, executing data loads, to performance tuning
• Efficiently develop and document SQL queries, T-SQL procedures and OS scripts

• Certified SQL Server Administrator
• CompTia Security+
