Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Endocrinology

The role involves conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments to diagnose and treat endocrine disorders
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, thyroid function tests, and glucose monitoring
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
• Educate patients on self-management of their conditions, including medication management and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Specialization or experience in endocrinology is preferred
• Strong understanding of endocrine disorders and their treatment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Current licensure and registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state
