Shipping-Receiving Clerk - Full Time Days

Position Summary:

Performs duties related to incoming and outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities:

• Receives incoming product (materials, supplies, equipment) and compares actual delivered product (vendor catalog #, unit of measure, quantity shipped) to packing slip information to purchase order to verify accuracy according to corporate policy.
• Inspects shipments for damage or defects.
• Utilizes automated system to correctly receive product, with Purchase Order numbers.
• Coordinates delivery of products including paperwork according to corporate policy.
• Responsible for the delivery and documentation of package delivery to Orlando Health departments, accurately and expeditiously.
• Moves product within staging/storage area and delivers throughout Orlando Health facilities.
• Assists with reconciliation of invoice unit of measure discrepancies as needed.
• Maintains a stock of commonly used parts including but not limited to power cords, batteries, video monitors, and keyboards.
• Organizes and maintains an inventory of spare parts on hand.
• Maintains a stock of equipment labels, cleaning supplies, and other miscellaneous shop items.
• Orders tools and assemble tool kits for new technicians.
• Assists to get vendors approved for conducting business with Orlando Health.
• Sources and orders parts for technicians.
• Ships out devices for repair.
• Picks up supplies and partsfrom local off-site vendors.
• Coordinates annual calibration of test equipment at all sites.
• Reviews invoices for approval and verifies financial information is included on work orders in CMMS.
• Maintainsreasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintains established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least 180 days experience in shipping and receiving in addition to a working knowledge of Lawson or other Materials Management or Purchasing application coupled with experience in invoice resolution activities and related procedures.
