About this Position / Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage small to medium-sized IT applications and infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Utilize knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Scrum, and Agile, to implement best practices and drive project efficiency.
- Oversee all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to established methodologies and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders by understanding business applications and IT infrastructure needs, ensuring clear communication and proper execution of project requirements.
- Communicate and engage effectively with all levels of business users and management, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Utilize proficiency in MS Office products, including MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, to prepare reports, schedules, and presentations. Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with team members and stakeholders, regardless of technical expertise, to promote a positive team environment.
- Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in a second language preferred, to facilitate broader communication.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all project documentation and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically in IT applications and infrastructure.
- PMP certification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
