Job Description
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the pre-construction phase, ensuring that projects are accurately estimated and prepared for success.
The Commercial Construction Estimator responsibilities include:
- Analyzing construction blueprints and relevant documents to prepare timelines, cost estimates, material requirements, and labor estimates.
- Creating bid packages, developing budgets, and evaluating subcontractor bids for conceptual and bid proposal estimates.
- Establishing pricing and conducting comparative analyses.
- Collaborating closely with the construction project management team to maintain estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Consulting with vendors and internal project teams to address and resolve issues.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors.

The Commercial Construction Estimator has the following experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Proficiency in performing take-offs and organizing conceptual budget pricing.
- A self-starter mentality with a clear understanding of deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both over the phone and in person.
- Proficiency with project and estimating software, including iSqFt, ProCore, Sage, and On-Screen Takeoff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBid).
