Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements, ensure contractor compliance with all safety policies
- Coordinate all aspects of projects pertaining to the technical activities on assigned projects
- Acquire quotes from vendors on new equipment or modifications to existing processing equipment
- Determine costs on new and proprietary projects, and manage the spending throughout the project
- Prepare all necessary documents for capital expenditure requests
- Control project variables; timing, cost, quality, and risks
- Coordinate the construction of new production and any accessory equipment necessary for projects
- Oversee the commissioning of new production equipment and process, including training for the production personnel
- Work with sales, marketing, and manufacturing to develop quality assurance testing programs on completed projects
- Insure the project will be completed on time, within budget, and achieve the stated deliverables for the project
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree or equivalent manufacturing experience required
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and provide direction in a positive manner
- Ability to travel as required
- Proficient with CAD and Microsoft project
