As a Construction Manager in the commercial sector at our client’s company, you will oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality and safety standards.This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and comprehensive knowledge of commercial construction processes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise commercial construction projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel.
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective measures.
- Maintain high standards of quality and ensure compliance with safety regulations and client specifications specific to commercial projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Secure necessary permits and ensure all commercial projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to maintain smooth operations.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in construction management within the commercial sector, preferably in the Los Angeles area.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, OSHA) are highly desirable
