The Role
Headlands Research is looking for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as we run cutting-edge clinical research trials. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients, is motivated by making an impact in patients' lives, and functions highly in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Type: Full-time (fully benefitted), 32 hours per week
Pay: Annual salary equivalent to $71-95/hour (dependent upon years of experience as a provider, experience in clinical research, and experience treating patient population)

Schedule: Mondays through Thursdays, 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Onsite in Riverside, CA (no remote or hybrid capabilities)
Responsibilities:
- Conducts study-related physical exams, assessments, and diagnosis of medical conditions
- Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the principal investigator on the clinical trial
- Conducts study-related follow-up visits
- Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol
- Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants’ eligibility
- Maintains proper documentation
- Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
- Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports
Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of California
- Previous experience as an advanced provider required
- Clinical research experience highly preferred, but not required
- Thrives in a team environment and has a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
- Has a high level of proficiency with software systems and computer programs; this position requires entering and extracting information from multiple systems or databases
