Overview:

Rose Pest Solutions is seeking a friendly, positive, professional individual as District Service Representative (DSR)/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.

District Service Representatives will record, verify and post payments received by the organization. They ensure transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies. An individual may reconcile payments with accounts receivable ledger and prepare reports of delinquent accounts.

May be responsible for customer billing and responding to customer inquiries regarding bills.

District Service Representatives ensure efficient and organized operation of district/office service and sales support functions. Answers telephone calls from clients, prospects, and vendors. Relays messages to team members. Prepares office correspondence, documents, and reports.

Maintains district records and prepares billings.

Responsibilities:

The principal duties of the DSR are to verify and post payments received by the organization. They are responsible for customer billing and responding to customer inquiries regarding bills. The DSR ensures the efficient and organized operation of district/office service and sales support functions.

The DSR communicates with service centers regarding payment for services rendered and performs collections on past-due accounts.

This position is best for someone who likes working independently in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being the "go-to person", and can stay organized and attentive to detail without direct supervision. A successful team member must have good communication and computer skills; attention to detail; and be able to work cooperatively with clients with a desire to help others.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be a U.S. citizen or possess documentation required to work in the United States
  • Are able to work before 8am and after 5pm, and/or on weekends
  • Has valid motor vehicle operator's license and a good driving record
  • Is able to read, speak, write and comprehend English
Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Computer & Office Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Windows and basic office software programs
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and use new software program
  • Proficient in data entry and typing
  • Able to use basic office equipment: copier, fax machine, etc.
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize time and work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing work demands and requirements
  • Understands value of promoting cooperation, building teamwork and resolving conflict

Candidates must have the ability to:

  • Sit, stand and crouch
  • Lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
