Founding Account Executive for AI Simulations - U.S. East Coast (Remote)
NOTE: this position is currently commission only + stock options. Our goal is to also assign a base salary after 3 months in the role.
Our company, Anthropos, builds a technology called AI Simulations that companies can use to test and upskill their employees in real-life scenarios using AI: they use them to onboard, train and assess them on unique scenarios they face inside their organizations, from classic customer facing situations (sales, customer success, negotiation, assistance to their products and services).
This technology reduces by 80% the amount of time needed to train employees or assess their skills with precision and it's able to show exactly how they think and how they would do things in that situation.
On the recruiting side, AI Simulations can be used to avoid bad hires, prescreening them on the exact job position and watching how they would handle conversations, problem solving and building real projects before companies hire them. Any bad hire costs between $70k and $110k in the US for mid level positions.AI Simulations can save millions for a medium large company.
We are looking for the first Account Executive to join us and bring this product to market in the US targeting companies between 250 and 500 people across multiple sectors including technology, services, manufacturing and financial services.
We are looking for a very motivated professional that wants to join us with an initial 3-month trial period commission only and then step into a base + commission + stock optoions contract.
Our team has been working together for 10+ years, previously starting and selling Cloud Academy Inc. in the US - one of the largest and most successful e-learning tech platforms in the world. We are tech and product experts that love to build unique, global products in the skill enrichment and training world.
Tasks
Your goal will be first and foremost to build pipeline doing coldcalling and messaging to a well defined set of personas and accounts.
Outbound: we expect regular weekly cold calling (150+ calls/week), email outreach (200+ messages per week) across a variety of channels starting with a list of target accounts.- Constantly find and refine target accounts: we will help you start here but we expect you to then own and refine your top list of prospects following our inputs and what you learn in the market.
- Demo our product and become an expert: you will regularly demo our product and you will need to learn everything about it. You will be constantly supported by our team but we expect you to be able to present Anthropos and answer almost every product question related to it.
- Manage the full sales cycle: we expect you to manage the full sales cycle, including renewals and expansions.
- Be solution and problem focused: we expect someone that understands how important and critical it is to sell a solution to problems and not just software. At Anthropos we help our customers map and build skills to transform their businesses: we obsess about helping our customers succeed with that.

Sales Experience: You have 3-4 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting quotas through outbound efforts. References and demonstrated results, including a list of closed customers and quarterly sales achievements, are a must.Our preference are candidates that have sold both in startups (Seed - Series A) and medium/large corporates.
Travel: we expect you to travel to visit prospects and customers when/if needed. Our founders will often join you and work side by side with you to close deals.
Financial Motivation: You are motivated by financial success and are eager to make significant earnings by selling Anthropos in the US market.
Strong Ambition: You possess a high level of ambition and are looking for more than just a job. You aim for career growth and substantial achievements.
Curiosity: you are naturally curious, love asking a lot of questions and are interested in learning more about people and businesses you meet daily.
Independent: you are a self-starter, you figure things out and don't wait for people to tell you what to do. This is vital in a founding position such as this one.
Benefits
We offer very competitive commissions (30-40%) for the first 3 months and accelerators for this role in addition to stock options in our company. After 3 months, if successful, we will extend you an offer with base + salary + stock options.
We are definitely looking for candidates that are motivated by the idea of making hundreds of thousands of dollars through their deals. We know it's possible and we had former colleagues that have done it with us in our previous company.
List of benefits- Competitive commissions (up to 40%) for the first three months as trial period and then OTE made of base + commissions ($150k OTE, $75k base, $75k variable, no cap with accelerators and bonus)
