job summary:We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electric Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently transporting, loading, and unloading materials within the warehouse while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory.
2 years experience required Key Responsibilities: Operate an electric sit-down forklift safely and efficiently in a warehouse or industrial environment. Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and trucks.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the forklift to ensure operational safety. Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications: Proven experience operating an electric sit-down forklift (certification preferred). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs]. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer skills is a plus.
