About the Role:

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst II is an integral part of Latham’s Technology team This role will be responsible for continuously monitoring the performance and health of the firm’s technology infrastructure such as databases, network devices, virtualization, storage, compute.
The NOC serve as the first line of defense against infrastructure disruptions and failures or detect anomalies to either take steps to prevent problems or quickly resolve issues as they emerge. This role will be located in our Las Vegas office.

Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with members of the Platform Service Operations team to provide efficient procedures and communications to streamline processes and satisfy various department needs for issue remediation
  • Assisting the supervisor and core infrastructure and business technology teams to create regular performance and system capacity reports for regular updates to senior management on system capacity for budgeting and forecasting
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities for Continual Service Improvement for key services alongside Event, Problem, Incident, and Change Management, and NOC best practice activities
  • Initiating maintenance and troubleshooting by responding to alerts, investigating issues, and analyzing data to escalate problems. Handles Helpdesk escalations, managing scheduled maintenance, and monitoring for system issues. Updating tickets promptly, logging resolutions and recommendations
  • Operating numerous vendors, windows, network, and monitoring toolsets to provide stakeholders the information necessary to ensure the firm’s network, applications and IT services are healthy and available
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Display excellent organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills, including effectively defining problems and identifying solutions

And have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field
  • Certification(s) in one or more: ITIL, Azure, AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco preferred
  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in helpdesk, NOC or IT support role required

Pay Range: USD $75,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
