Software Engineer

This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design software systems using VB or C
• Conduct unit testing and integrated system testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of software systems
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and achieve goals
• Maintain a solid understanding of software development and database development (Oracle and/or SQL)
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and accurately
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Possess knowledge of Inventory and Manufacturing-related systems
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently
• Ensure consistent communication with all relevant parties to keep them informed about ongoing projects and developments. • Proficiency in using VB and Visual Basic (VB) for software development
• Demonstrable experience in software engineering, preferably in a similar industry
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience with continuous integration
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
