We are seeking an IT Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. The IT Manager will oversee complex IT projects, provide team leadership, manage IT infrastructure, and ensure continuous security improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of complex IT projects, including the management of ERP upgrades and infrastructure refreshes.
  • Provide effective leadership and direction to the team, empowering them to succeed.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including virtualization (VMware ESXi), Windows Server administration, storage administration (SANs, backups), and Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Entra).
  • Administer network operations including LAN/WAN networking (Cisco, Meraki, Grandsteam VOIP).
  • Oversee Syteline ERP and SQL Server management, including administration, upgrades, EDI, and BI reporting.
  • Advocate for continuous security improvements and implement security best practices.
  • Design and execute disaster recovery plans and ensure redundant operations to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Dell Technologies, ERP
  • Enterprise Resource Planning, Active Directory, Auditing, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT managerial role within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Dell Technologies
  • Demonstrable experience with Cloud Technologies
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and their use in a manufacturing context
  • Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Skills in Auditing and Backup Technologies
  • Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management
  • Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
