Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing energy company that is looking for a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will handle a wide range of accounting duties, including the management of accounts payable and receivable, the reconciliation of accounts, and the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial activities for our residential solar division, including the management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the monthly and annual closing of the books, ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported.
- Work closely with the CFO to reconcile accounts and maintain GAAP activities within the ledger.
- Prepare financial reports and conduct variance analysis, providing commentary where necessary.
- Assist with the preparation and compliance of tax documents.
- Collaborate on the improvement of systems and processes within the accounting department.
- Provide support to other departments, offering accounting expertise as needed.
- Audit financial records periodically to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
- Contribute to the organization and execution of day-to-day accounting functions.
- Assist with activities related to the integration of company books.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrated experience with General Ledger maintenance
- Familiarity with preparing and analyzing Journal Entries
- Experience in managing Month End Close procedures
- Proficiency in the use of NetSuite and QuickBooks accounting software
