Enterprise Architect
Overview:
Apogee is actively seeking a full-time Enterprise Architect II supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at Ft. Meade, MD.
The SE&I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&I also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and, when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. The SE&I is comprised of 3 branches:
- Enterprise Sustainment & Evolution
- Enterprise Performance & Capabilities
- Enterprise Mission Management
Responsibilities:
- Provide Enterprise Architecture expertise to support data-driven enterprise decisions
- Supporting senior leaders and provide architectural recommendations to meet strategic objectives for future IT system integration
- Collaborating with Nuclear Command, Control, Communications (NC3) Enterprise Architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE)
- Producing and publishing baseline and incremental NC3 system of systems architectures to support and update information hosted in enterprise digital engineering tools
- Developing detailed architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC3 Enterprise, as needed - All View (AV), Operational View (OV), and System View (SV) artifacts
- Ingesting, re-formatting, and publishing architectures using validated and verified authoritative data to support and update information hosted in digital engineering tools
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS wtih SCI eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical fieldYears of Experience: 5+ years' relevant experience providing:
- Experience with systems modeling language
- Technical Architecture Framework for Informaon Management (TAFIM) compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to develope architecture artifacts per industry standards
Additional Experience:
- Experience working in digital mission engineering environment
- Proficieny aligning EA with Scaled Agile Framework
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification: DODAF or TOGAF certification
Additional Experience:
- Working-level proficiency with Models Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Modeling tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, and SparxEA

Pay Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
