Accounting Specialist

We are on the lookout for an Accounting Specialist to join our team based in Sonoma, California. This role is situated within the wine and spirit industries and will involve working in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will involve managing and reconciling accounts, as well as maintaining our proprietary database.

• Efficiently manage and reconcile accounts in EUR and USD using our proprietary ERP and QuickBooks
• Organize and maintain electronic files and documentation
• Handle data entry tasks into our company's proprietary database
• Perform monthly expense accruals and provide support during month-end close
• Manage and reconcile corporate credit card expenses
• Facilitate client and vendor follow-ups and account reconciliations
• Maintain W9 file and manage yearly 1099 filing
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth operation.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, and Invoice Processing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in accrual-based accounting and GL Reconciliation.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with billing processes
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
