Accounts Payable Specialist

A leading company in Valley Center, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. The Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the entire cycle of accounts payable, acting as a leader within the AP department.
This role encompasses managing the accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, and entering invoices into the system, as well as handling complex vendor queries and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the full cycle of Accounts Payable Process from invoice receipt to payment.
- Ensures prompt and accurate monthly close of the AP ledger in line with agreed finance calendar deliverables.
- Manages the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for accounts payable.
- Takes ownership and resolve queries associated with AP processing.
- Produces monthly payment forecast for treasury.
- BA/BS in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of the entire AP cycle.
- Expert proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
