Sr. Portfolio Operations Analyst

Randstad is currently partnering with one of Global Investment in the finance industry, and recruiting candidates to join their team as a Sr. Portfolio Operations Analyst. This 6 month contract assignment would require you to work at least 2 days per week Onsite. Please see the job description below for more details.   • 3+ years of experience in institutional account reconciliation, trade support, and corporate actions.
  • Understanding of Fixed Income products and market practices is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated time management, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management.
  • Proven ability to manage risk, mitigate risk and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in other mid- and back-office roles including trade support, performance, portfolio operations, and client administration.
  • Intermediate Excel skill set proficient with formulas, macros, pivot tables.
salary: $45 - $53 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
  • Institutional Account Reconciliation:
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of institutional accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to investigate and resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Maintain and update reconciliation documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Trade Support:
  • Provide comprehensive support for trade processing, including trade validation, settlement, and confirmation.
  • Monitor trade flow and troubleshoot issues related to trade discrepancies, settlement failures, and other trade-related problems.
  • Liaise with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth trade execution and settlement.
  • Corporate Actions:
  • Manage and process corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of corporate actions and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.
  • Review and update corporate action records to reflect changes and maintain accurate account information.
  • Fixed Income Products:
  • Apply knowledge of Fixed Income products to support account reconciliation and trade processing.
  • Stay informed about market developments and changes affecting Fixed Income products and their impact on institutional accounts.
