Location: Remote (Within a 3-hour radius of Charlotte, NC or Upper New York State)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Producer or Account Executive to lead our new Commercial Lines Small Accounts Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to shape the division, manage its operations, and grow its revenue with minimal oversight.

You will be responsible for managing a steady stream of passive leads, developing the division’s budget, and implementing strategies to expand our reach in the small commercial accounts sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Division Leadership: Establish and manage the Small Accounts Division, overseeing daily operations and long-term strategy to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Service & Sales: Handle incoming passive leads, offering top-tier service to small commercial clients while identifying cross-sell opportunities.
  • Budget & Strategy: Develop and manage the division’s budget with full autonomy, allocating resources as needed for success.
  • Growth-Oriented: Work in an entrepreneurial environment with minimal micromanagement, while receiving support from senior leadership when needed.
  • Sales & Renewals: Lead business development efforts and manage renewals through a structured commission and renewal commission plan.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to align the division’s goals with the broader company strategy.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Commercial Producer or Account Executive in Commercial Lines (independent agency experience preferred, but direct writers will be considered).
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight and the ability to make strategic decisions.
  • Fully remote role with quarterly in-person meetings.
  • Experience with small commercial accounts or a willingness to bring in a small book of business (preferred but not required).
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the drive to grow and develop a division from the ground up.
  • Compensation:

Competitive base salary

Commission on new sales

Renewal commission on existing business

Potential for additional performance-based bonuses

Location:

Open to candidates from North Carolina or upper New York state. Remote work is available within a 3-hour radius from Charlotte, NC (including areas like Raleigh, NC, Columbia, SC) or the Syracuse, NY area.
