Fabrication Tech 1st NEEDED
Our brand new client, located on the north side of Holland, is seeking a Fabrication Tech.
JOB SUMMARY: Full-time work to support implementation of continuous improvement ideas including design, fabrication, installation and support. General tasks include but are not limited to: minor machine repair work, basic carpentry and metal fabrication work, rack assembly, cleaning of equipment, painting and other general maintenance activities in coordination with other Manufacturing and CI support teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assists in minor machine repairs, upgrades or modifications in support of production activities, assists in larger machine work including installations, repairs and overhauls. -
Performs basic carpentry and metal fabrication work (i.e. building tables, shelves, carts, etc.); may work from detailed instructions, drawings, and/or sketches. -
Performs equipment cleaning, painting, lubrication, etc. as well as general work cell cleaning. -Performs all work in compliance with company rules and regulations such as Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures as well as all Federal State, and local statutes, regulations, codes and ordinances; promptly report any hazardous condition or workplace injury to immediate supervisor or EHS Designate.

Works with production teams and individuals to solicit improvements and take their ideas from concept through design, fabrication, trial and revision. -
Performs other duties as assigned$20 to $25/hr DOE
