EHS Coordinator

Do you have experience in a manufacturing facility maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace? Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Coordinator to support their Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field, and the ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Ensure vigilance on H&S coordination plan availability prior to Field Service Engineers trip for site operations (New equipment and Services)
  • Author, implement, and administer appropriate QEHS&S policies and programs.
  • Secure Security Travel Management for all interventions in the region
  • Secure mapping, monitoring, development plan, follow up for training programs related to QHSE&S for employees.
  • Secure controlling and vigilance of PPE setup and availabilities for employees
  • Execution of audits and consequent correction/improvement plan
  • EInteract with Sourcing for suppliers’ evaluations and correction plans.
  • Drive Communications and initiatives with other functions linked to QHSE&E for employees.
  • Track and trend reporting of incidents and calculate injury frequencies for corporate and OSHA compliance.
  • Complete accident/illness investigations; documenting as is appropriate and communicating with government agencies and vendors.
  • Lead and facilitate the safety committee.
  • Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Evaluate safety deficiencies, authoring and communicating documentation relative to the same.
  • Conduct safety training and education programs for OSHA compliance including, NFPA, ANSI and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.
  • Provide regular reporting for status and escalate critical risk observations
