Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient Medication Management
Description:We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation and distribution of medications in an inpatient or ambulatory care pharmacy. The technician will work under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, managing medication orders, inventory levels, and ensuring that the pharmacy department operates smoothly.
This role also involves handling medication errors, conducting controlled substance audits, and assisting with patient care initiatives.
Mandatory Skills:
- Certification as a pharmacy technician
- Ambulatory care experience preferred
- Knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and pharmacy policies
- Ability to maintain inventory and perform audits
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Total pay: $52,000 - $72,000 per year
