Speech-Language Pathologist
Job Description
Join the McCarton Foundation and help transform lives! We’re seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide services to children with autism aged 2-3 years old. You will work alongside Occupational Therapists, ABA Therapists, and a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do- Direct Care: Provide individualized treatment to children with autism aged 2-3.
- Assessment and Planning: Review physician referrals and children’s medical records, plan and perform treatment programs, and document goals and progress.
- Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment at various stages and adjust treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
- Collaboration: Work with related services to provide individualized programming for each child.
- IFSP Development: Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing learning and development with support from experienced staff.
- New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Completion of a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Previous experience in autism and early childhood is desired.
- Adaptable and eager to learn in a new environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 annually.
- Schedule: 8:00 am
- 4:00 pm, Monday
- Friday, full-time, 12-month position.
