Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Operations Leader to oversee our Talent Acquisition, HRIS Administration and payroll functions. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, this Director of HR Operations will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of all TA, HR systems and payroll processes.

This individual will focus on identifying opportunities for improvement, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices to optimize HR processes and systems and support the achievement of overall HSM and HR business objectives.

This position is based out of Huntersville, NC (hybrid role).

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and enhancing the human resources functions within the organization, focusing on fostering a positive work environment, optimizing employee performance, and supporting the company’s growth.
  • Provide leadership to the HR team and develop strategies in key areas including HRIS Administration (Workday), Talent Acquisition, and Payroll.
  • Lead all this HRIS including going through an RFP (Request for Proposal) and evaluation, selection, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing WorkDay and UKG.
  • Formulates, evaluates, and implements innovative human resources policies, best practices, and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency, employee retention, and satisfaction.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and promotes employee awareness of these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in HR operations and 5 years of people management experience leading teams of 8 to 10+.
  • Proven experience with an HRIS selection and implementation.
  • Experience in supporting operational employees alongside corporate staff and executives.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, compensation, benefits, First Response HR; Employment Verification, Background Checks, Accommodations / LOA, Payroll (initially), HRIS Administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
