About Our Client

Our Client is a national General contractor who has been in the building and construction industry for over 60 years bringing in an annual revenue of $100M per year. They are a multidisciplinary both in commercial and multifamily projects. Right now they are looking for a Project Engineer - Multifamily Construction who can learn and grow within the company.

Job Description

reporting to the Project Manager the Project Engineer - Multifamily Construction is responsible for:

Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
Monitor project progress, tracking milestones, timelines, and budgets to ensure the project stays on schedule and within financial parameters.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across all project stakeholders.
Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
Provide support with cost estimation, helping to track material, labor, and equipment expenses.
Prepare and present status reports for the project manager, highlighting potential issues, risks, and opportunities.
Troubleshoot and resolve any project challenges or conflicts that arise, minimizing delays or disruptions.
Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.

Relevant degree in a building and construction field
2+ years of expereice in building and construction
