POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will provide operational support for a lead management system for a major automotive manufacturer. This role supports the delivery of client services and use technical skills to maintain software and database systems and create regular reporting deliverables.The incumbent will work closely with a team of developers to communicate software update requirements and test changes made by the development team to ensure systems are functioning as expected. Additionally, it requires providing analysis and reporting on key metrics for the platform's stakeholders.
The position emphasizes technical and client-handling skills to carry out high-quality projects and tasks with precision and timeliness. Regular, in-person, monthly team meetings at the local office are essential for this role's success. The most commonly used technical tools in this position include proprietary software, advanced Excel, and SQL.
The ability to craft engaging slide decks is also desirable, as the role may involve client presentations.

Leaders collaborate with their teams to find an optimal balance between in-person and remote work, taking into account the business needs, client requirements, cross-functional projects, personal work styles, and preferences.The preferred location for candidates is in the Los Angeles area; however, remote candidates must be ready and willing to travel to the Long Beach, CA office as needed, which is currently once a month. Initial training may require additional visits to the Long Beach office for hands-on learning experiences.

Base Salary Range: $76,245 - $94,010 + discretionary bonus potential. This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans and delivers client reports and projects on time, adhering to specifications.
- Designs and manages client databases using Urban Science software, ensuring data accuracy.
- Develops client relationships and responds to inquiries.
- Understands client data to create accurate deliverables.
- Ensures high-quality data in projects.
- Codes and tests custom client software.
- Tracks and verifies data to improve accuracy.
- Maintains Urban Science internal software systems.
- Documents project meetings and stays updated on deliverables.
- Ensures software quality with internal teams.
- Adheres to quality control standards.
- Coordinates with teams to complete tasks on time.
- Communicates updates and issues to management.
- Works with the manager to improve client satisfaction.
- Participates in Urban Science training programs.
- Completes annual goal setting and performance reviews.
- Trains and coaches Analysts, reviewing their work for accuracy.
- Prioritizes other duties with the manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- University degree required; technical degrees are strongly preferred (i.e., engineering, applied math, statistics, applied science, information systems, operations research, etc.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution. Non-technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of analytical and technical knowledge required for the role
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Certification of Apprentice for one practice area preferred (or external equivalent)
- Urban Science Ambassador
- Statistics 1 & Basic Statistics Assessment (or external equivalent)
- Intro to Operations Research (or external equivalent)
