Accounts Payable Specialist

This role requires precision, attention to detail, and proficient problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Process invoices from multiple vendors and reconciling purchasing orders to vendor invoices
2. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
3. Schedule, prepare, and execute payment runs, ensuring that due dates are met
4. Address and respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
5. Assist with month end closing processes and with accounts payable related reporting
6. Participate in financial audits pertaining to accounts payable
7. Maintain orderly financial filing system of invoices, payment records and other accounts payable documentation
8. Undertake any additional tasks or projects as delegated by the Accounts Payable Manager

Qualifications:

1. Proven working experience as an AP Specialist dealing with high volumes of invoices.
2. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
3. Proficiency in English and in MS Office, specifically in Excel.
4. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Understanding of basic bookkeeping and payable principles.
