Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Yaphank, NY Pay Rate: $20 - $21 per hour Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our textiles and fabrics team in Yaphank, NY. In this vital role, you will ensure that all fabric and textile products meet strict quality standards before they are shipped or further processed.Your keen eye for detail, combined with your in-depth knowledge of textile materials, will help maintain our commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities- Accurately record and document inspection results, quality issues, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identify defects or irregularities in fabric, including weaving inconsistencies, stitching flaws, and color deviations.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and recommend actionable improvements for enhanced product quality.
- Ensure fabric rolls are properly labeled and meet order specifications prior to shipment.
- Utilize a range of inspection tools and equipment (e.g., measuring tapes, microscopes, colorimeters) to assess fabric quality and consistency.
- Maintain and regularly update inspection records, reports, and databases to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of quality data.
- Monitor environmental conditions in the production area, such as temperature and humidity, to prevent any negative impact on fabric quality.
