Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record(link removed)>
- Active Bar Admission in Georgia.
- 57 years of substantive experience in employment litigation or commercial litigation with employment counseling(link removed)>
- Experience handling cases related to constitutional claims, employment disputes, student matters, and contract suits(link removed)>
- Background in civil rights, disability rights, and compliance with state and federal education laws preferred(link removed)>
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage depositions, court hearings, and client conferences independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in federal and state litigation, including educational institutions, K-12 school districts, colleges, universities, private schools, and charter schools(link removed)>
- Provide counsel on employment and education law compliance, including civil rights and disability matters(link removed)>
- Assist in all phases of litigation, from legal research and case development to motions practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions with strategic insight.
- Handle depositions, court hearings, and client meetings with professionalism and confidence.
- Stay up to date on legislative changes and evolving legal trends impacting education and employment law.
