Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and analytical support to the HQ ACC/A5IQ in the development and integration of requirements into existing and/or planned systems
- Provide technical and analytical assistance including evaluating operational capabilities and addressing operational needs
- Provide development, analysis, and process assistance in all Program Objective Memorandum and Amended Program Objective Memorandum activities. Assist in investment strategy planning
- Support the development of RPA Enabling Concepts as well as long-range plans, modernization roadmaps and other formal or informal planning documents required
- Advise ACC/A5IQ on operational, logistics, and technical issues, transition strategy, project schedules, program plans, and other time-sensitive documents
- Provide expertise and guidance to ACC/A5I, enabling directives to the System Program Office with regard to enduring Support and Sustainment Requirements for all aspects of MQ-9 operations (CONUS/OCONUS)
- Assist MQ-9 fleet allocation and disposition; and coordinate movement of assets to meet ever-changing warfighter needs, to include work with partner nations
- Coordinate MQ-9 production aircraft distribution, transfer of MQ-9 aircraft between units, MAJCOMs, and FMS customers; and coordinate aircraft movement for retrofit and modification programs
- Coordinate Technical Order verification efforts of Maintenance Technical manuals
- Manage urgent operational needs (UONs) support and sustainment activities
- Coordinate at the group and wing commander level to gain consensus and support for higher risk, rapidly fielded capabilities
- Support requirements definition for the ACC Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) effort
Qualifications:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance
- Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; OR, the combination of an associate degree from an accredited university and 10 years of USAF experience in operations, staff or working Air Force aircraft maintenance, logistics and/or support
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of MAJCOM or higher staff experience
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of USAF experience in or directly related to maintenance and/or logistics working with AF RPAs
- Must have experience directly supporting MQ-9
