Our Client is a Belgian multinational materials company, established in 2023 through the spin-off a global chemical manufacturing company.

• Design, configure, and implement AspenTech APEM solutions to meet business and operational needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at to integrate APEM with other plant systems such as ERP, LIMS, and PLC/DCS systems.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for MES configurations, including process models, data mappings, and user interfaces.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal system usage.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and functionality.
• Stay updated on the latest AspenTech APEM features and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in MES strategies.
• Lead and participate in MES project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.The Global Automation and Control Systems Lead for North America will play a crucial role in managing substantial capital budgets, directing significant projects, and developing financial forecasts that align with strategic objectives.Your expertise will be essential in understanding the vision of our sites, prioritizing necessary upgrades, and overseeing rollouts to ensure our operations maintain their competitive edge through innovation and efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MES engineering, with specific expertise in AspenTech APEM.
• Proven track record of successful APEM implementation and optimization projects.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and integration points for MES systems.
• In-depth knowledge of AspenTech APEM and its integration with other manufacturing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages and database management is a plus.

• Competitive salary and benefits package
• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $103,360 to $129,200 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes a sales incentive plan (variable annual bonus).
