The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture.

Key job responsibilities
Within WWSO, this position is part of the NGDE Specialist Team, where you will lead the GTM plan for Amazon Q Developer for customer field programs. You will also lead the the effort in driving the development and adoption of the Gen AI Next Generation Developer Experience services through deep customer engagements.You are a leader for specialists, architects, partners, and account teams and set direction and standards for how we solve customer problems in your domain. You partner with technical and business teams across AWS and bring the voice of the customer into our product development roadmap.

About the team- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, managing relationships and acting as a strategic advisor driving adoption of Gen AI developer tools
- Partner with field leaders to create repeatable scaling motions
- Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions and programs, events (such as Hackathons, GameDays) to drive adoption of Gen AI developer tools.
- Build and engage with C-level stakeholders to understand the value prop of the developer experience
- Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
- Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.- 6+ years of experience in technical account management, product development, go-to-market, or business development roles
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, DevOps, Operations, and full stack development
- Experience with managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and delivering solutions
- Bachelor's degree in technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Working knowledge of and experience with cloud technologies and development tools / technologies
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to leverage data to drive informed decision-making
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and enterprise software implementation best practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
