Description:Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. This is a working supervisory position in the Resource Department that assists all Tempus Unlimited Programs, Tempus consumers, and the communities in Massachusetts.
This role provides information and referral services to a wide range of people including those using Tempus programs and those seeking more information outside of Tempus services. This role also establishes positive relations in the community.This role will take lead in networking to share information about Tempus programs and services, building the Zuke Resource Database, helping to share the positive impact the Tempus programs make in the community, attending community events, and community outreach.
Responsible for supervising all activities and personnel associated with performing tasks and work processes assigned to the Resource Department.
Actively participate as a member of the Community Services Leadership team and the Tempus Unlimited Supervisor team as part of larger organization in support of business objectives.- At least one-year in a leadership or supervisory role

Essential Duties:
- Staff
- Train and develop team through challenging assignments
- Provide resource and source documents of information to improve knowledge
- Document all resources in Zuke Resource Database
- Supervise daily activities to ensure positive productivity and offer staff support
- Create yearly performance goals and then provide informal regular feedback
- Operations
- Supervise staff, organize priorities and workload
- Develop, measure, and report meaningful key metrics
- Establish group targets and strategy for achieving targets
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements
- Support other department functions as necessary
- Communication
- Lead department meetings
- Liaise with other departments as necessary
- Serve as point of escalation for external contacts
- Encourage and provide free flow of bi-directional communications

- This role is a Mandated Reporter and all suspicions will be reported
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Community Services

Required Experience: At least one-year in a leadership or supervisory role. Microsoft Office, Customer service, human service and community resource work, lived and/or work experience with disability services and community resources.
Education: Bachelors or Associates, with experience. Experience may be substituted for education.
Work Environment
This job operates both remotely, in a professional office environment, in a community organization, or at a community event. This role routinely uses standard office equipment - computers, and phone.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear.The employee will need to carry conference boxes up to 20 pounds and other related items. The employee will need to set up conference tables, or present at a community location/event.
