Job Description:

Position Overview: Lennox is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) coop intern to join our high-performing Sales Effectiveness & Intelligence team. The SDR coop intern will play a crucial role in driving business growth by generating qualified leads, building relationships with potential customers, and supporting the overall sales process.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Lennox's success in the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
  • Complete in-bound lead qualification activities and appointment setting for Territory Managers.
  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers within specified territories.
  • Utilize various channels, including phone calls and emails, to engage prospects and generate interest in Lennox products and solutions.
  • Support market blitz and market strike activities for field sales including list generation, development of prospecting routes, and scheduling of appointments for prospecting teams.
  1. Qualification and Pipeline Development:
  • Assess the needs of potential customers to determine if there is a fit with Lennox products and services.
  • Work closely with the sales team to schedule appointments for qualified leads and contribute to the development of a robust new business pipeline.
  1. Market Research:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively position Lennox as a leader in the HVAC space.
  • Provide valuable insights and feedback to the sales and marketing teams at Lennox to enhance the overall lead management strategy.
  1. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, stores, marketing, and customer experience teams, to ensure a seamless interaction process for the prospect.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with prospects to educate them about Lennox offerings and value propositions.
  1. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce.com) to track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline development.
  • Provide regular updates to management on progress, challenges, and opportunities within the assigned area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Currently working on Bachelor's degree or in an MBA program, preferably with a Sales / Business focus.
  • Experience in B2B sales development or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation software such as Salesforce.com.
