The Product Support Specialist's role is providing answers that MQ Power products customers have prior to purchase and specific technical questions they have about the product after ownership. While our MQ technical support team answers operational and troubleshooting questions of operators and technicians, the Product support specialist researches and finds answers about the product itself for engineers, for service centers, parts sales, and our service and support team.

The product support specialist works with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Parts, and Service teams to answer product questions and solve new situational issues which require investigation; with the goal of providing the highest level of ownership satisfaction.

The product support specialist is responsible for product issue tracking for specific customer accounts and ensuring successful follow through of all cases and requests.

The Product support specialist is responsible for supporting the Customize Product Request workflow and process; which is the process of coordinating between sales and engineering, and ensuring that the process moves forward to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Researches documentation and works with engineering to answer specific technical product questions
  • Tracks customer support requests from key accounts
  • Provides technical support staff with up-to-date information on minor product changes, known issues, statues and resolution
  • Responsible for facilitating the ordering process of customers for customized products.
  • Reports to and is supported by the MQ Product Management Team
  • Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer support and coordination
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Excellent communicator in person, over the phone, and via video calls. This includes interactions with both internal teams and customers.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing and completing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to learn and converse about topics of a technical nature.
  • Able to find answers of a technical nature through documentation, existing internal resources or by locating new external resources.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office Suite

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base pay range of $30.00-$35.00/hr
