Business Development Manager
POSITION TITLE: Business Development Representative
COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary DOE + commission
TRAVEL: 25%
LOCATION: Houston, TX
SUMMARY: This individual will surface and grow new and existing accounts and new client relationships. Will be responsible for directly developing and growing client relationships at the local plants, will attend trade shows and other networking events and will call prospects and develop leads.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES: Selling the companys services to customers located within the geographic territory
Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability both short and long termDevelops personal action plans to penetrate new markets
Maintains key customer relationships while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the companys customer base
Participating in industry trade shows and technical conferences as required
Maintain familiarity and knowledge of key company offerings and brings new opportunities
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:- 5+ years Industrial Business Development experience -Chemical and Refinery industry with solid contacts at various plant locations a plus
Solid knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and in team environment with an appropriate sense of urgency and accuracy
Bachelors Degree Preferred
