Corporate Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence, maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. Unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where expertise in data analysis and developing financial insights will be instrumental in shaping the future success of the global enterprise.Partner closely with finance leadership, providing recommendations based on comprehensive financial analysis. The successful candidate will have a collaborative approach to coaching peers to enhance their financial acumen.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Work Functions:
Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Develop and utilize advanced analytical tools and financial data to produce superior analysis and actionable recommendations within the corporate accounting function.
- Prepare and present clear, concise internal financial reports to the Corporate Controller.
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
- Lead the strategic financial modeling, annual budgeting and forecasting processes for corporate by working closely with key departmental leaders to ensure alignment with executive team goals.
- Monitor performance against budget and forecasts and provide regular updates.
- Collaborate with corporate FP&A and corporate controllership to provide financial insights that guide strategic decision-making.
Business Partnering:
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships to drive financial and operational performance.
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to division leadership teams and corporate department leads by guiding financial decisions, demonstrating the ability to connect key pieces of data to predict future needs and have a systematic approach to proactively solving problems.
Process and Systems Improvements:
- Lead the implementation and development of new procedures and features to improve the workflow of the department and provide training to new or existing staff if necessary.
- Proactively improve the accounting and automation process by reviewing systems and collaborating with continuous improvement teams.
- Collaboratively manage relationships and workflows with outside professionals and other outside service providers including external auditors, tax providers, valuation specialists, systems support, banks etc.
- Collaboratively manage treasury function to identify opportunities for improvement in approval process, entitlement authorizations and debt compliance reporting.
Qualifications:
Education, Skills & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, with a strong background in leading teams and financial analysis.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated and organized with a good understanding of financial and operational controls.
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Good IT skills – proficiency in Microsoft Suite, OneStream, Concur and other accounting software
- Well-grounded knowledge and comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and reporting according to US GAAP as well as assistance with Statutory Audits under various IFRS and other international accounting standards.
The expected salary for this position is between $94,843.00 and $127,803.00 and will be eligible for incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, location, skills, training and experience.
